Biology lessons in the Senior School at St. Francis’ help develop students’ understanding of the living world, from molecules and cells to ecosystems. We encourage independent thinking and informed opinions on key biological and ethical issues.
Students participate in national competitions such as the Biology Challenge and Biology Olympiad, achieving excellent results. Learning extends beyond the classroom through ecological studies on the school’s grounds and caring for animal and plant species in our laboratories.
Clubs such as the Vet Club and Medical Society support those aspiring to study medicine or biological sciences, providing valuable practical experience and insight into future careers.
