We would like to say a huge well done to everyone who took part in yesterday’s More Able Year 10 Debating Competition.
We had the pleasure of welcoming Monks Walk School and Bedford Girls’ School to join our students for a full and busy day of debating. The standard was incredibly high, and the judges were impressed by the thoughtful arguments, clear communication and strong understanding shown throughout each debate.
After four tough rounds on real-world topics, the competition narrowed down to two finalists: St. Francis’ College and Monks Walk School. Both teams demonstrated outstanding ability and delivered confident, well-developed arguments. After careful deliberation, Monks Walk School was crowned the winner. 
Thank you to everyone who attended and took part. We look forward to hosting this event again next year!
