Starting boarding can feel daunting, and that is something some of our pupils understand first-hand.
As this current Year 7 boarder shares, what began with nerves quickly became a sense of belonging. From the kindness of fellow boarders to the reassurance of knowing there is always someone nearby, boarding at St Francis’ is about much more than where pupils stay. It is about feeling part of a supportive community from the very beginning.
If you or your child is feeling unsure about taking that first step, you are not alone. Many of our boarders felt exactly the same and are now glad they gave it a chance.
