Yesterday, our Sixth Form French students spent the day at the BFI on the Southbank. In the morning, they listened to a fascinating interactive presentation delivered in French by Muriel Huet, lead specialist at the BFI, on the importance and impact of the ‘Nouvelle Vague’ movement in the history of cinema. In the afternoon, they enjoyed a screening of Bande de Filles’ an award-winning contemporary French film. Such an inspiring day!
