The Prep School had the pleasure of taking our school council, The DREAMS Team, on a tour of The Houses of Parliament. We were very impressed with the behaviour of the children- they were fantastic role models. We took the train and the London Underground to arrive at Westminster. We got to see the House of Lords, St Stephen’s Hall and Westminster Hall. The pupils learnt great facts about the history of The Palace of Westminster and some anecdotal stories about how Henry VIII, The Suffragettes and our recent monarchy have all had their part to play in how The Houses of Parliament are recognised today. We even got to spot some MPs, Lords and Baronesses.
