Year 3 and Year 4 have been learning about plants during their Outdoor Learning lessons. They explored how plants grow from seeds and discussed why the seed is such an important part of a plant’s life cycle. The children were fascinated to learn how something so small contains everything a plant needs to begin growing.
To bring this learning to life, the children then had the chance to plant their own seeds in our very own vegetable and flower patch! They carefully prepared the soil and planted the seeds, thinking about what plants need in order to grow well. We look forward to watching them develop over the coming weeks.
