Year 10 Food and Nutrition students took part in a practical cookery workshop this week with chefs from the Royal Navy. Students were provided with all the ingredients needed to make burgers, chips, and chocolate brownies, supported throughout by expert guidance from the visiting chefs.
At the end of the session, the students were able to enjoy their delicious creations while asking the chefs questions about what it’s like to cook in a ship’s galley or even on a submarine.
