Last weekend, 21 Year 9 students successfully completed their 2-day DofE Bronze Training Expedition.
Day 1 began at college, where students learned the expedition skills needed for the weekend ahead. In the afternoon, they walked to Wymondley Woods Scout and Guide Centre, where they pitched their tents and cooked their evening meals on camping stoves. Pot noodles and toasted marshmallows were especially popular.
On Day 2, students successfully navigated 12km routes finishing in Weston and Halls Green. Throughout the expedition, they stayed positive and supported one another, showing excellent teamwork and determination.
They should all be very proud of what they achieved over the weekend.
