Spring Board FutureChef Regional Final

Huge congratulations to Hilary Bexfield who won the Regional final of this culinary competition this week. She will go on to represent the East of England at the National Final at Westminster Kingsway College on March 18th competing against eleven young chefs for the National title. This is a huge achievement and we are all very proud of Hilary. Hilary has benefited hugely from the support of her Mentor Chef, Ruth Hansom, Head Chef at Luton Hoo Hotel and Ruth will support her through to the National Final too.

Her main course was Lamb Rump with Minted Gnocchi, Crushed Peas, roasted onion, broad beans, morels and Goats Cheese curd with black garlic. Dessert was Lemon Posset, meringue and ginger tuille.
