The team in Prep care for each and every pupil. Small forms and classes mean that all of our staff know all of the children incredibly well. The pupils know that they can approach any member of staff with any worry, no matter how big or small. Staff work together to ensure that the children in our care are safe, happy and healthy. We support them in enjoying and achieving in their school lives so that they are prepared to make a positive contribution to society when their journey with us ends.
Leadership opportunities as Form Captains, Vice-Form Captains, House Captains, Eco Committee, School Council Representatives and Digital Leaders foster a sense of responsibility in the school community.
PHSE is delivered weekly to as part of the curriculum. Prep pupils are involved in assemblies and the School Council ideas are taken to the Head of Prep for discussion. The children themselves make a difference to their educational experiences. There is a buddy system in place for our younger pupils and the Prep Department positively support British Values.
The house system underpins the pastoral programme, providing the pupils with further opportunities for collaboration and celebration. We care for the whole child and aim to fulfil not only the academic potential of your child but to develop their resilience and life-skills.
