The college held a gathering on Wednesday to celebrate the birth of Scotland’s national bard, Rabbie Burns. It was a lovely community event, with staff and students taking it in turns to perform songs, poetry and music. Mr Brownlee turned out in his kilt and provided the address to the haggis while the boarding students baked some delicious shortbread for the occasion. A huge vote of thanks goes to Mrs Scott and Mrs Bland for providing the musical support and to all our performers on the evening. We are already looking forward to next year’s Burns Night on January 25th so save the date!
