At St. Francis’ College, academic excellence is underpinned by a commitment to high expectations, personalised support, and a broad, ambitious curriculum. The College fosters intellectual curiosity and independent thinking, with strong values placed on resilience, diligence, and academic integrity. A-Level and GCSE results in Summer 2025 demonstrate another year of outstanding achievement and continued improvement. At A-Level, 25% of grades were awarded A, 64% at A-A, and an exceptional 95% at A*-C, with a 100% pass rate*, reflecting the College’s sustained upward trend from previous years. GCSE results in 2025 were equally impressive, with 22.2% of grades at 9 (A), 47.4% at 9–8 (A), and over 70% at 9–7 (A*–A), again showing significant progress and excellence compared to past performance. Students regularly go on to top universities including Cambridge, UCL, Warwick, Manchester, and Exeter, studying a diverse range of subjects from Engineering and Biology to Law and Business. The Extended Project Qualification also thrives, with 90% awarded A*/A grades, reflecting the College’s emphasis on research and critical thinking.

A-Level Results 2025

Our students are celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results this year. Over 70% of all grades awarded were at 9-7 (equivalent to A*-A), with nearly half (47.4%) at grade 8 or above. Impressively, 22.2% of all results were awarded the top grade 9, reflecting the remarkable commitment and talent of our Year 11 students.
