Visit Us

Choosing a school for your child is a huge decision and a website can only tell you so much. To really get to know us and to understand what makes St. Francis’ such a happy, vibrant school, we recommend arranging a visit.

Visits include meeting the Head (or Head of Prep for younger children) and a tour of the College. You’ll be able to meet the staff and current pupils, see the school in action, and discover more about how our staff will support and encourage your child to achieve anything they want to.

We aim to make the process of choosing a school as flexible as possible for busy families. There is a regular programme of visitor events throughout the year, and we are also delighted to arrange an individual visit at a time to suit you.

You are warmly invited to our Meet the Head events taking place throughout the academic year. These comprise a short introduction from either our Head, or our Head of Prep, followed by a tour of the school conducted by some of our students. Following your tour, you will have the opportunity to join an informal Q&A discussion with the Head over refreshments.

Festival of STEM (Free)

The Festival of STEM is Back 🚀

After strong demand and the success of previous years, we are excited to officially announce the Festival of STEM, taking place on March 11, 2026 at St. Francis’ College, Letchworth. We are pleased to confirm that we will be opening this event to the public for another year.

The event will feature 20 hands on STEM activities, designed to support curiosity and active learning and is perfect for Years 4 and 5.
